The
Wenatchee Chapter, WSPE serves the
North Central region of Washington
including the Chelan, Douglas and
Grant Counties. The chapter holds
monthly dinner meetings on the Third
Thursday of each month (September
through June) beginning with a
social period at 6:00 PM and dinner
at 6:30 PM. The venue generally
alternates between Wenatchee and
Moses Lake to accommodate engineers
in those locations. Details of the

published in the monthly chapter
newsletter,
Focus on Engineering.
Each
year, the Wenatchee Chapter sponsors
a local
MATHCOUNTS competition for 6th
through 8th grade
students in participating schools in
the chapter’s area. Successful
competitors attend the Washington
State MATHCOUNTS competition where
the winners move on to the National
competition.
The
Wenatchee Chapter also sponsors a
BRIDGEBUILDING competition for high
school seniors. This competition is
conducted under the
International Bridge Building
rules and the top two contestants
participate in the International
Competition.
