WSPE MATHCOUNTS
MATHCOUNTS is a nationwide mathematics coaching and
competition program. A team composed of four students
per school, is chosen at the school level. The team,
and possibly the highest scoring individuals, can
advance through chapter, state and ultimately the
national competitions. Local chapter competitions
are held for all 11 WSPE Chapters. The registration
deadline is in December of each year. The Washington State competition
is usually held in March and the location changes
each year. The local chapter competitions, which precede
the state competition are generally held in the month
of February. Local chapters will provide the details
to students who have registered for the MATHCOUNTS
program.
You can e-mail us at wspe@washingtonengineer.org
if you need more information about the Washington
MATHCOUNTS or want registration materials from your
local coordinator. Go to the national level
MATHCOUNTS
site for more information and a program overview.
Cool stuff for the students is available on the MATHCOUNTS
page.
The NSPE Student page was developed to help high
school and college students learn about engineering,
particularly about becoming a professional engineer.
NSPE promotes the development of professional engineers
in the United States and represents all engineering
disciplines. New! Are you ready to look for an engineering
job? Post an online resume with NSPE! Go to http://www.nspe.org/students/
