YOU CAN APPLY NOW FOR THE 2004 PEI $2,500 SCHOLARSHIP

 

Applicants must be sponsored by a NSPE/PEI member. Students who are children, dependents, or relatives of NSPE members are given preference in the scholarship selection process. Students must have completed a minimum of two semesters or three quarters of undergraduate engineering studies (or be enrolled in graduate study) in a program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). NEW DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

 

The Maureen L. & Howard N. Blitman, P.E., F.NSPE, Scholarship to Promote Diversity in Engineering will be awarded to a high school senior (male or female), from an ethnic minority, who has been accepted into an ABET-accredited engineering program at a four-year college or university. The award, which provides $5000 for the recipient's freshman year, has been endowed by Mr. and Mrs. Blitman, to encourage students from ethnic minorities that are underrepresented in the field of engineering, to pursue this challenging and rewarding career.
